who is
uschi
Camel Uschi founder Ursula 'Uschi' Musch - or Osha to her Arab friends - has been living in the United Arab Emirates for more than 20 years.
Born in southwestern Germany, she first visited the Emirates in 1988 as a tourist and has developed a life-long passion for UAE culture and Bedouin traditions.
"Absolute best and authentic desert experience in Dubai. From Camel riding with real bedouins, over the traditional prepared food in the desert kitchen to absolute tranquility enjoying the stars in the sky in a handwoven tent over a self roasted cup of coffee."

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Let´s get this straight: Camel Uschi is not your average adventure travel host.
She is a lover of Emirati culture and heritage - and as lover of the Emirates, she launched the company in 1990. She and her team want you to feel her passion and taste with all your senses in an authentic way, up close and personal.
In the heart of the UAE's desert landscape, the Bedouin culture stands as a testament to centuries-old traditions.
We want you to experience the tribal culture as it still exists in modern UAE, against the modern city life.
experience
timeless arabia
The Bedouin owe their very existence to their camels. First domesticated some 3,000 years ago, the camel can provide Bedu with food, clothing, fuel and transport. In past times, camels were the only way to travel long distances.
Kamel Uschi's camel farm has been breeding dromedary camels for nearly 20 years. Our camels are trained and cared for according to age-old Bedouin traditions. They are saddled in the Arabian style by our team, with a handmade pad filled with palm leaves.
Arriving at our farm, our Bedouin team welcomes you with traditional refreshments. You are invited to explore the camel farm with team members on hand to answer questions.
Afterwards you are invited to ride a camel along the unique desert trails of the Wadi Saih al Salam. Our experienced camel handlers will guide you and of course provide help to first-time camel riders. Enjoy the tranquility of the desert on a camelback!
Following your camel ride you are welcome to relax on the farm or in the dunes behind in a traditional beduin tent and enjoy the sundowner.
Upon your reservation my bedouins will prepare local delicious food, like beans (Fasiola), goat chops and freshly baked arabic bread.
Bookings can be done online, we can also arrange your transfer from your hotel/location to the farm and return.
Please book the transfer option additionally to your activity and do not forget to leave us your contact details, to be able to get in touch.

Just with the sunset Kamel Uschi's cooks - often the owner, Uschi Musch, herself - prepare Arabian Bedouin dishes in front of your eyes using traditional cooking methods. Meat and vegetables are cooked on an open fire, or as madfoun or mandi (methods of cooking in hot embers buried under the ground). We are offering chicken, goat or camel meat, vegetables, salad, freshly baked bread and fresh fruits (according to advance menu orders). Vegeterian food is also available.
